Three naxals killed, two injured in police encounter

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Mar 24 (UNI) Three naxalites were killed and two were injured in a police encounter at Churegaon in naxal-infested Kanker district's Amabeda area, police said today.

Inspector General of Police M W Ansari said the body of one naxalite was recovered, while the other two were carried away by their colleagues.

CRPF personnel and state police jawans engaged in the firefight with the ultras at around 1000 hrs.
