Thieves loot items, ornaments worth Rs 1.80 lakh

Nanded, Mar 24 (UNI) Unidentified thieves have robbed cash, ornaments and household material worth Rs 1.80 lakh in the two cases of housebreaking from the district late last night, police said here today.

The thieves robbed cash, ornaments and household material worth Rs 1,18,000 from a house in Purnimanagar locality under the jurisdiction of Bhagyanagar police.

In another incident, Rs 65,000 cash was stolen by robbers from a house in Subhashnagar locality of Kinwat tehsil late last night, police said.

In both the cases, the house owners were away from their residence when the incidents occurred, police added.
