Sports minister hails infrastructure in Melbourne

Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) A four-member delegation led by Andhra Pradesh Sports Minister M Satyanarayana Rao has visited the various venues and stadia in Melbourne under the 'Observers Programme' organised by the Commonwealth Games Secretariat.

The sports infrastrure facilities in Melbourne were extrordinary and the sportspersons in the country should draw inspiration from the sportsmanship being displayed by Australians, the minister said in Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) release here today.

Sports Secretary Chitra Ramachandran, SAAP Chairman M S Raj Thakur and Vice-chairman G Kamala Vardhana Rao were the other members of the delagation.
