Russia protests vandalization of WW II memorial in Berlin
Moscow, Mar 24 (UNI) Russia today strongly loged its protest with Germany after a memorial of Soviet soldiers who fought in the Great Patriotic War against Nazi Germany, was vandalized in Berlin.
''Moscow is outraged by the act by unknown people who desecrated the memorial of Soviet soldiers in Berlin,'' Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"We are concerned over the unprecedented scale of vandalism. This barbarian act cannot be justified. The Russian embassy in Germany made its protest known to the German Foreign Ministry," the said.
