Rs 11456.39 lakhs district credit plan for Pulwama

Srinagar, Mar 24 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government has approved Rs 11456.39 lakhs district credit plan for Pulwama in South Kashmir for the year 2006-07, an official spokesman said here today.

The plan will benefit 10846 beneficiaries, he said and added that this was approved at a meeting held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Pulwama.

An amount of Rs 4456.73 lakhs which constitute 48.63 per cent of the total priority has been earmarked for agriculture, Horticulture activities.

Similarly an allocation of Rs 1185 lakhs which constitute 2.94 per cent of the total amount, has been approved for non-farm sector and SSI units.

An amount of Rs 3514.66 lakhs, which constitute 38.38 per cent, has been marked for priority and non-priority sectors while an amount of Rs 2388.19 lakhs has been earmarked for government sponsored schemes which will benefit 2573 beneficiaries.
