Rijkaard rests Ronaldinho ahead of Benfica clash
MADRID, Mar 24 (Reuters) Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard has decided to rest Brazilian forward Ronaldinho for tomorrow's match at basement side Malaga ahead of next week's Champions League quarter-final clash against Benfica.
The Catalans, who enjoy a comfortable 12-point lead over Osasuna at the top of the Primera Liga, will also be without defenders Carles Puyol, Edmilson and Rafael Marquez for the league game.
All three defenders will also miss Tuesday's match against Benfica, prompting Rijkaard to call up youth team player Rodri as he looks to reorganise his back four.
