Raichur records maximum temp of 38.2 degree celsius

Bangalore, Mar 24 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka, however above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 38.2 degree celsius and Bijapur recorded lowest minimum temperature of 17.4 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Sunday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/ night. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 34 and 21 degree celsius respectively.
