Prevention of Disqualification Bill tabled,BJP stages walk out.

Dehradun, Mar 24 (UNI) Amid bedlam created by the Opposition in the Uttaranchal Assembly, the Treasury benches tabled the ''Prevention of Disqualification bill'' today after the house was resumed after its second adjournment in a day.

As soon as the speaker Yashpal Arya entered the House the members opposition BJP and BSP entered to the well, of the house demanding expulsion of 13 Congress MLAs enjoying Office of Profit and opposing the tabling of the Bill.

However permission was granted by the speaker while BJP members along with BSP legislators staged walk out. Soon after other opposition UKD followed suit.

Leader of the opposition Matbar Singh Kandari told UNI the Congress government to save its members holding office of profit was passing the Prevention of Disqualification Bill that also without taking in confidence the members of Working Advisory Committee. He said the opposition would send a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner of India and even approach the court if required.
