One dead in explosion at French university -radio

PARIS, Mar 24 (Reuters) One person died in an explosion that destroyed a research building at a French university in the eastern city of Mulhouse today, France Info radio said.

Emergency services said earlier the explosion injured a large number of people in the institute of chemistry on the university campus.
