Notice to Ajmer, Jaipur Jail Superintendents

New Delhi, Mar 24 (UNI) A city court today issued a fresh production warrant for notorious poacher Sansar Chand, who is lodged in Ajmer jail in connection with a wildlife crime case in Rajasthan.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjiv Jain also issued notice to the superintendents of Ajmer and Jaipur jails asking them to file a detailed report on why Chand was not being produced in court here.

The poacher, accused of killing thousands of animals, including the entire tiger population of Sariska, has been charged under the stringent MCOCA, besides the Wildlife Protection Act, by the CBI.
