Journalists attacked in Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur, Bihar, Mar 24 (UNI) At least three journalists were injured in an attack allegedly by private security guards of a leading doctor at Chhoti Khanjarpur Mohalla under Kotwali police station here today.

District Magistrate Bipin Kumar said the journalists sustained injuries when they were attacked by guards at the residence of Dr N K Yadav where they had gone to cover the raid carried out by the income tax department.

The injured have been admitted to local hospital.

A case in this connection was lodged with the police station concerned.
