Jammu, Mar 24 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig today advised members of the state Legislatives Assembly and Council to resign from ''office of profits.'' Talking to mediapersons here, he said he had suggested that MLAs and MICs belonging to the ruling coalition quit the chairmanship of various boards as the post comes under the designation of ''office of profit.'' ''We have asked our legislators to leave the office of profit at once,'' the PDP leader added.

There are reports that four MLAs have resigned from the post of various boards, but confirmation is awaited.
