Haryana Cabinet decides to amend police act

Chandigarh, Mar 24 (UNI) The Haryana Cabinet today decided to amend rule 12.15 and 12.16 of Punjab Police Rules, 1934 (as applicable to Haryana).

The Cabinet, which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda decided to enable the Director General of Police to grant appropriate relaxation in age, height, qualification and to provide preference or weightage for training and experience obtained by a class or category of persons by giving suitable marks in interview.
