Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) Former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today criticised the Andhra Pradesh government for not announcing that they were ready to place the Sripadasagar project files before the TDP in the House.
Speaking to reporters here, Mr Naidu alleged that the government wanted to abruptly close the business of the House on some pretext or the other today.
He said the TDP wanted the government to keep the Sripadasagar project files before them in the irrigation minister's chambers.
''The government should have announced in the House that they were ready to put files before TDP on March 25. Instead, the government chose to adjourn the House and announce the same at a separate press conference,'' he added.
If the government had given the announcement regarding the Sripadasagar project files in the House, business in the House would have continued, he pointed out.
