Goa police arrests 6 'contract killers' of Kottayam
Panaji, Mar 24 (UNI) Goa police today said they have arrested from Margao a gang of six alleged contract killers from Kottayam in Kerala, who were reported to be hiding in the state after allegedly committing two murders in Kottayam.
The police said gang leader Jeson Anthony, 31, was arrested from Margao last night on a tip-off. His interrogation led to the arrest of Mohammad Salee, 20, Rias Mohammad Asraf, 22, Sibu K V Sattam, 25, Sabin Gangadhar, 20 and Sahil Amit Kadar, 21, from Quepem.
Anthony disclosed they had murdered Kabil on March 6 and fled to Goa, police said, adding they also confessed to have killed one Vidhadharan two years ago. He said he was putting up at Margao to arrange food supply for his accomplices.
Police said they have informed their counterparts in Kottayam about the accused.
