Dubai firm to invest Rs 400 cr in brand building exercise

Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) Dubai-based Alukkas Jewellery (AJ) plans to invest Rs 400 crore over the next three years in brand building exercise in India for its products.

With 12 outlets in India, the AJ Group planned to open its first showroom and its 61st across Middle East and Asia on March 26 in this Pearl City, Group Chairman Joy Alukkas told the media here today.

The group planned to expand into Europe and the United States and will open its first showroom in London next month.

It was also open two more showrooms here over the next few months, each at an investment of Rs 25 crore.

The privately-owned company will notch up Rs 600-crore in turnover during the current fiscal and expected an additional Rs 100 crore business in the next financial year.
