DSK eyes Pearl City for expansion
Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) Pune-based DS Kulkarni Developers Ltd (DSKDL), one of India's leading housing construction companies, is looking at expanding its operations here as part of its growth strategy.
The company was currently executing projects costing Rs 555 crore in prestigious locations in Mumbai and Pune spread over 39 lakh sq ft The projects were under various stages of development and execution and targeted to be handed over to occupants by financial year 2009, DSKDL Chairman and Managing Director D S Kulkarni told the media here today.
The company was looking at 100 acre of land for taking up projects in Hyderabad, before March 2007, with investment of between Rs 200 to 300 crore.
Already into automobile retail, IT and housing, the Rs 1200-crore group was also looking at other sectors for diversification.
The string of prestigious projects under implementation include DSK Vishwa, a mega township spread over 110 acre at Pune, designed by world-renowned architect Balkrishna Doshi.
DSKDL was the ''only'' construction company having an ISO 9001-2000, 14001 and OHSAS-18001 certification, he claimed.
