Air passenger dies due to cardiac arrest

Chennai, Mar 24 (UNI) A-58 year old passenger died of severe cardiac arrest on board in the Singapore-Chennai Air India flight last night.

Airport sources said, the passenger A Mohamed Mazulkhan of Tharangambai, hailing from Nagapattinam District of Tamil Nadu, was coming to Chennai from Singapore, complained of uneasiness and chest pain when the aircraft approached the Anna International Airport here.

When the flight landed, the doctors, who attended the passenger, declared him dead.

The body was sent to the Government Hospital at Chrompet for post-mortem, the sources added.
