560 members trade worth Rs 5,947 on NCDEX

Mumbai, Mar 24 (UNI) As many as 560 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 5,947 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,38,720 trades put through by them.

Active trades were high in guarseeds, chana, lemon tur, guargum, sugar and urad, a NCDEX release here said.

Yesterday, about 698 members had participated yesterday in trading and put through more than 1,76,769 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2355 hrs was Rs 8,561 crore (one way).

Active trades were in urad, chana, guarseed, lemon tur, gold and guargum, a release added.
