Woman kills self alongwith infant son

Jaunpur, Mar 22: A woman committed suicide by jumping with her infant son before a running train in the Line Bazar area here early today (Mar 22, 2006).

Police said that Gyani Devi took the extreme step with infant son in her lap, near the Jaunpur City railway station. Both mother and son were killed on the spot.

Family spat was suspected to be the reason behind the incident, police added.
