West Bengal Congress list likely tonight

New Delhi, Mar 22 (UNI) The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Congress Party met today and finalised the list of candidates for the forthcoming assembly elections in West Bengal.

The list is likely to be announced tonight, party sources said.

The two-hour-long meeting, chaired by Congress President Sonia Gandhi, at her 10 Janpath residence was attended by almost all the CEC members, including Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee.
