VVP Engg College to celebrate 'Vibrations 2006' from Mar 28
Rajkot, Mar 22: A two-day national level technical symposium 'Vibration 2006' will be organised by the Vyavasayi Vidhya Pratishthan (VVP) engineering college here from March 28.
College Chairman Pravin Maniar said at least 1,550 students from across the country are expected to take part in the event which aims to test their knowledge in various subjects pertaining to technology.
Mr Maniar said, ''Technology is growing in leaps and bounds. In keeping with the times, through 'Vibrations-2006', the college seeks to reach out to leading technological institutions from across the country and bring students, teachers and intelligentsia on a single forum.'' The students will get a chance to test their skills in events like paper presentation competition, poster competition, expert lectures, Robo soccer match, track challenge and other such competitions, Mr Maniar said.
Founded in 1996, VVP engineering college is affiliated to Saurashtra University and recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Government of Gujarat, he said.
