Washington, Mar 22: The US Chamber of Commerce has sent a letter to the members of the Senate and the House of Representatives yesterday (Mar 21, 2006) to urge support for legislation that would implement Indo-US civilian nuclear cooperation agreement.
The agreement would create a deeper strategic partnership with India that would enhance global stability and create tremendous new trading opportunities, according to the Chamber.
It would also strengthen non-proliferation, meet India's energy security needs, and promote a cleaner environment using reliable and safe nuclear power, the letter said.
