Suspended Cong legislator thrown out of Rajasthan Assembly
Jaipur, Mar 22 (UNI) Congress legislator Raghubir Singh Meena was literally thrown out the Rajasthan Assembly by marshals after he refused to sit out of the House even after his suspension.
Speaker Sumitra Singh had earlier asked Mr Meena to go out of the House for his objectionable behaviour during the heated exchanges between the ruling party and opposition members over the issue of atrocities against Christians in the state.
Congress legislators reacted strongly after the incident and congregated at the well of the House shouting slogans.
The House was adjourned twice for more than an hour each time.
When the session started again, Speaker Sumitra Singh asked Mr Meena either to apologise or leave the House and on showing dissent he was thrown out of the House.
