Rupee reference rate nine paise down at 44.47 per US dollar

Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for rupee at 44.47 per US dollar, which was nine paise down from Tuesday's rate of 44.38, a RBI spokesperson here said.
