RS mourns the demise of Golap Barbora

New Delhi, Mar 22 (UNI) The Rajya Sabha today mourned the death of its ex-member Golap Barbora, who died on Mar 19 at the age of 80.

Chairman Bhairon Singh Shekhawat said Mr Barbora was a trade unionist and a social worker in Assam. He also participated in the Quit India movement.

Members observed silence for two minutes in memory of the departed soul.
