Rajasthan Assembly passes grants for rural, town development
Jaipur, Mar 22 (UNI) The Rajasthan Assembly today unanimously passed Rs 154 crore grants earmarked for special programmes for rural development, town and regional development and housing for the 2006-07.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Kalu Lal Gurjar tabled the proposal.
Local body minister Pratap Singh Singhvi tabled grant proposals seeking Rs 1361 crore for town development and Rs 37 crore for housing, which were also passed by the House.
