iGATE announced ERP Center of Excellence

Hyderabad, Mar 22 (UNI) iGATE Global Solutions, the integrated technology and operations company, today announced the inauguration of an ERP Center of Excellence (COE) at its software development facility in Hyderabad.

Briefing reporters here, iGATE Global Solutions Chief Delivery Officer Mohan Sekhar said the ERP COE at the Hyderabad development facility is in line with their strategy of creating a chain of COE's in chosen technology areas across their software development centres.

''This focussed approach of IP creation, automation and productivity enhancing solutions, benefits our clients in maximizing their IT spends.'' iGATE Global Solutions Vice President Debasish Pattanayak said the COE had been instrumental in developing IP solutions like Portfolio Connect, which helped provide seamless integration between ERP systems and other legacy applications. "A few of iGATE's customers are using it to effectively eliminate the complexities of system integration they encounter", he added.

iGATE Global Solutions, which is headquartered in Bangalore is present in 12 countries and maintains development centres in the US, UK, Canada, China, Malaysia and India.
