Written by: Staff

Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) Bombay High Court today stayed till tomorrow the arrest of three associates of former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Jagmohan Dalmiya, for their alleged involvement in the misappropriation of board funds.

Justice V N Kanade, in his order, stayed the arrest of former BCCI secretary S K Nair and two former treasurers - Kishore Rungta and Jyoti Bajpai, allegedly involved in misappropriation of Rs 21 lakh.

The court also granted interim bail to the three former BCCI officials, following an anticipatory bail plea moved by them on the grounds that they had been falsely implicated in the case and they had nothing to do with the alleged misappropriation of funds.

The court will hear their bail applications tomorrow along with the anticipatory bail plea moved by Mr Dalmiya, who had been granted an interim bail yesterday.
