Din in Uttaranchal assembly during Governor's address

Dehra Dun, Mar 22 (UNI) The Uttaranchal Assembly witnessed uproarious scenes during the inaugural address of Governor Sudarshan Agarwal to the Budget Session of the House.

As soon as the Governor started his address, main Opposition the BJP and the BSP indulged in sloganeering.

Meanwhile, legislators of the Uttarankhand Kranti Dal (UKD) the other opposition members did not participated in the din.

Slogan shouting legislators targeted the ruling Congress government crying 'Liquor mafia's government - will not run'.

UKD leader Kashi Singh Airy told reporters that it was against the norm and the Governor being a constitutional post, it was not fair to oppose his address.

The House was adjourned after the address.
