Air Deccan flight makes emergency landing
Kolkata, Mar 22 (UNI) An Air Deccan flight from Kolkata to Port Blair this morning returned to the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport and made an emergency landing following a technical fault with the aircraft, airport sources said. The plane with 120 passengers had left Kolkata at 0720 hours.
At around 0815 hours the Captain of the plane informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC) that he was returning and landed safely around 0920 hours.
The aircraft had developed hydraulic failure and was grounded for the day, the sources said.
