Venkatratnam takes over as Goa's Chief Information Commissioner

Panaji, Mar 21 (UNI) A Venkatratnam, former IAS officer, today took over as the first State Chief Information Commissioner to oversee the implementation of the Right to Information Act.

Surudas G Kambli, a retired civil service officer, took over as the State Information Commissioner.

Chief secretary J.P.Singh had earlier administered them oath of office in his chamber.
