UN Council meeting on Iran nuclear crisis delayed
UNITED NATIONS, Mar 21 (Reuters) The U N Security Council today postponed its scheduled closed-door meeting on Iran's nuclear ambitions so changes could be made to a draft statement that Russia and China refuse to endorse, diplomats said.
No date has been set for a new meeting but the envoys said informal contacts among members would continue throughout the day. The draft statement tells Iran to suspend all uranium enrichment activities and comply with demands from the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna.
