Ten killed and 45 injured in road accidents in AP

Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) Ten people were killed and 45 others were injured in two seperate accidents in Andhra Pradesh today.

Ten persons were killed when two buses belonging to the state-owned Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation collided between Gajwel and Pragnapur in Medak district.

Four people were killed on the spot six while being taken to hospital and 35 passengers sustained injuries.

In another accident in Adilabad district, ten school children were seriously injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling over turned near Mediguda village.

Twelve students boarded an autorickshaw to go to their school.

When the vehicle reached Mediguda village, the driver in a bid to avoid a vehicle coming in the opposite direction, lost control of the vehicle and the mishap occurred, police said.

The injured students were admitted to Adilabad Government hospital.
