Tanuju Tadvi elected Mayor of Jalgaon

Jalgaon, Mar 21 (UNI) Ms Tanuja Tadvi of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) was chosen as the mayor of Jalgaon Nagar Mahapalika while Mr Ramesh Jain, the vice mayor, during the election of the corporation this morning.

The tenure of former Mayor Ashatai Kolhe ended yesterday.

Ms Tadvi is from the tribal category and this is for the second time that the post of mayor has been taken over by a woman.
