Sachin ruled out of England ODI series, Windies tour due to injury

Mumbai, Mar 21 (UNI) Sachin Tendulkar has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against England and the West Indies tour thereafter due to a shoulder injury.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) joint secretary M P Pandove told reporters here today that Tendulkar will have to undergo a surgery on the right shoulder and would be out of action for eight weeks.

The surgery, Mr Pandove said, is likely to be performed in England.
