PM on two-day visit to Punjab from March 23
Amritsar, Mar 21 (UNI) Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will pay a two-day visit to this holy city on March 23 and 24 during which he would flag-off the inaugural Amritsar-Nankana Sahib bus service to Pakistan .
An official spokesman said here today that Mr Singh would arrive here by special IAF plane from New Delhi around 2200 hrs on March 23.
He would pay obeisance at the Golden Temple and the Durgiana Temple the next morning.
Later, he would flag off the first Amritsar-Nankana Sahib bus and address a public meeting.
This will be Mr Singh's second visit to the holy city, his home town, after becoming the Prime Minister.
Earlier, Dr Singh had come here to participate in the tercentenary celebrations of the installation of Guru Granth Sahib.
