Oppn seeks to move breach of privilege motion against Dy CM
Bangalore, Mar 21 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council H K Patil today gave a notice for moving a breach of privilege motion against Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa for misleading the House by providing wrong information in the budget for 2006-07.
Council Chairman V R Sudarshan said the issue would be taken up after question hour tomorrow.
Mr Patil, in his notice, claimed that Mr Yediyurappa, who also holds the Finance portfolio, while presenting the budget yesterday had deliberately given wrong information to mislead the members of the House with regard to allocation of funds to irrigation and rural development.
