Nepal army says it kills 20 Maoist rebels

KATHMANDU, Mar 21 (Reuters) Nepal's army today said its soldiers had killed at least 20 Maoists in an operation against the rebels in the west of the country.

An army officer said the guerrillas were killed at Darechowk in Dhading district, a Maoist stronghold 80 km (50 miles) west of the capital, Kathmandu.
