Mob set on fire coach of spl train in West Bengal
Barrackpore, Mar 20 (UNI) An irate mob tonight set ablaze coach of a special ticket checking train ''Chetna'' at Barrackpore station of Sealdah division of Eastern Railway, police said.
The mob vandalised the coach after some staff along with RPF jawans allegedly assaulted a ticketless traveller at the station.
The injured traveller was taken to a local clinic.
Three fire tenders arrived on the spot to douse blaze and additional force was deployed to restore normalcy.
Three local trains were detained following the incident.
