Jadeja to lead RCA XI in warm up match against England

Mumbai, Mar 21 (UNI) Ajay Jadeja was today named the captain of the Rajasthan Cricket Association President's XI, for the warm up one-day match against England to be played on March 25 at Jaipur.

The team was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) here today.

Gujarat wicket keeper Parthiv Patel, Mumbai's upcoming batsman Rohit Sharma alongwith off spinner Ramesh Powar were also included in the team, a release issued by the BCCI here today said.

Also finding a place in the 17-member squad is veteran Rajasthan player Gagan Khoda alongwith young India hopefuls V R V Singh, Suresh Raina, R P Singh and Piyush Chawla.

The Team: Ajay Jadeja (c), Gagan Khoda, Gautam Gambhir, Venugopal Rao, Suresh Raina, Parthiv Patel, V R V Singh, R P Singh, Ramesh Powar, Piyush Chawla, Rohit Sharma, V Sivaramakrishnan, Pankaj Singh, Sanjay Gill, Dishant Yagnik, Jaidev Shah and Vikrant Yadav.
