Egypt reports third human bird flu case
CAIRO, Mar 20 (Reuters) Egypt today said a third suspected human bird flu case had been discovered and the woman afflicted by the virus was in hospital.
The state MENA news agency quoted Health Minister Hatem el-Gabali as saying a 30-year-old woman had been admitted to hospital with symptoms of infection by the bird flu virus. The woman came from Qaloubiyah, 40 km north of Cairo, where two other cases had been reported in the last three days.
In one of the cases a woman died.
