Bush says troop pullout from Iraq to be decided in future
WASHINGTON, Mar 21 (Reuters) President George W Bush today refused to give a timetable for the pullout of American troops from Iraq and suggested they many remain there beyond his term in office.
Asked about full troop withdrawal from Iraq, Bush told a news conference: ''That of course is an objective and that will be decided by future presidents and future governments of Iraq.'' He reiterated that troop withdrawal decisions would be made by commanders on the ground.
