Bomb hoax in Chauri Chaura Express

Lucknow, Mar 21 (UNI) Panic gripped the Kanpur bound Chauri Chaura Express train following a bomb hoax last last night, Government Railway Police (GRP) sources said today.

The train was stopped at the Betalpur station in Deoria district.

following a phone call recieved by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), which claimed the existence of a powerful bomb on the train, they added.

An exhaustive check was carried out, following which the information turned out to be a hoax, sources said.
