ASI commits suicide in Rajouri Garden

New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Delhi Armed Police (DAP) allegedly committed suicide at his Rajouri Garden residence in West Delhi area early today.

ASI Harish Chandra (41) was found dead at his MIG Flat residence in Rajouri Garden by his family members at about 0530 hrs, said DCP (West) Robin Hibu.

''He had reportedly consumed some poisonous liquid.'' The exact cause of the death can be ascertained only after the postmortem, he added.

Harish, who was posted with the III Battalion of the DAP, looked disturbed of late, sources said.
