Ansari disappearance figures in LS

New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) The mysterious disappearance of former MP Prof Mumtaz Ansari figured in the Lok Sabha today with a RJD member asking the government to entrust the investigation of the case to the CBI.

Making a submission during zero hour, Mr Ram Kripal Yadav (RJD) pointed out that the whereabouts of Prof Ansari were not known for the past two years.

Though his residence was in Patna, he was working in a college at Ranchi, Mr Yadav said, adding that the government should take special interests in the case as he was a former member of the Lok Sabha.

''If necessary, the case should be entrusted to the CBI,'' Mr Yadav pleaded.
