Veteran freedom fighter dies at 106
Bhabhua, Bihar, Mar 20 (UNI) Veteran freedom fighter, 106-year-old Pashupati Nath Tiwari, a close associate of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, died at his ancestral residence here late last night.
Mr Tiwari was an active member of the 'Azad Hind Fauj' founded by Subhash Chandra Bose. He had visited several countries, including USA, Germany, Myanmar and Singapore along with Netaji to seek support for India's freedom struggle.
Mr Tiwari is survived by his son, and grandchildren.
