Raichur records highest temperature of 35.8 degree celsius

Bangalore, Mar 20 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hrs here today.

Dry weather prevailed over the state. Maximum temperatures rose at most place over coastal Karnataka and changed little over interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places over coastal Karnataka, however below normal at a few places over interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures appreciably rose at most places over coastal Karnataka, rose at most places over north interior Karnataka and change little over south interior Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka and were normal over south interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 35.8 degree celsius and Gulbarga recorded lowest minimum temperature of 19.0 degree celsius over the state.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the state.
