Probe into death due to police harassment

Chhatarpur, MP, Mar 20 (UNI) An inquiry has been ordered into the death of a woman in this district's Bhugiyan Khaira village following alleged police harassment.

The victim's kin said Bhoori Bai yesterday prevented a police team from forfeiting stolen material at her residence. Later, the woman fell unconscious and died shortly.

SP Yogesh Chaudhry today assured that proper action would be initiated after the post mortem report was obtained.
