Nagaland Assembly passes four bills
Kohima, Mar 20 (UNI) The tenth session of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly today passed four government bills by voice votes.
Nagaland Planning, Higher Education and Urban Development Minister Shurhozelie, who introduced the Nagaland Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill,2005, the Global Open University of Nagaland Bill,2005, and the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University in Nagaland Bill,2005, in the House during the Assembly session on December 16 last year, today sought for consideration and passing of the Bills.
Speaker Kiyanilie Peseyie put all the three bills for voting and the bills were passed by voice votes.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio moved the Nagaland Appropriation (NO 1) Bill,2006, and the Speaker put the bill on voice votes.
The bill was accordingly passed.
